Terms of Service

These terms cover the CrimeLife: CIA website at crimelifecia.com, our Discord server, our CIA Bot, and our Roblox group and game. By signing in to the website, buying anything from us, or using the bot, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, do not sign in and do not buy.

1. Who we are

CrimeLife: CIA is a community project run by its members. We are not a registered company and we do not trade as one. Money paid to us is put back into running the game, the Discord server and the website. Nobody takes a profit out of it.

Because of that, treat us as a small community operation rather than a shop. We will do our best by you, but we are people running a game, not a business with a support department.

2. Who can use this

You must be at least 13 years old, which is also the minimum age for Discord and Roblox. If you are under 18, you may only pay us with the permission of a parent or guardian, and by paying you are confirming you have that permission.

If a parent or guardian tells us a payment was made without their permission, contact us and we will sort it out with them directly.

3. Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms when you sign in to the website. We record the Discord account that agreed, which version was agreed to, and the date and time. We keep that record so we can show, if a payment is ever questioned, exactly what was agreed and when.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.

4. What we sell

We sell access tiers and extras for our Roblox game and Discord server. Depending on the item, buying it can give you any combination of:

• A rank in our Roblox group, which unlocks things in the game.
• One or more roles in our Discord server.
• Extras handed over in-game by a staff member.

Everything we sell is digital and exists only inside our game and our server. It is permission to use something we run, not property you own. It has no cash value, it cannot be sold or traded for real money, and it does not transfer anywhere else. If we ever shut the game or the server down, what you bought stops existing along with it.

We can add items, remove items, change prices, and run sales and discount codes whenever we like. Paying a higher price before a sale does not entitle you to the difference.

5. Getting what you bought

At checkout you type in a Roblox username. We deliver to whatever username you type. We do not check that it belongs to you, so check your spelling before you pay. If you send someone else's account a rank by mistake, we cannot take it back off them.

Roblox ranks and Discord roles are normally applied within a few seconds of payment. Extras handed over by staff are delivered by a person, so they take as long as they take. When you buy one of those, we open a private ticket in Discord for you and staff will meet you there.

If something you paid for has not arrived, open a ticket in our Discord and tell us your Roblox username and roughly when you paid. We can look up the payment and put it right. Please do this before going to your bank.

6. Refunds

We do not give refunds. What we sell is delivered immediately and cannot be taken back and resold, so once it has reached your account the sale is final. That includes changing your mind, buying the wrong item, being banned later, and no longer playing.

The one exception is an order that genuinely never reached you. If we look into it and find that you paid and received nothing, we will either deliver it or refund it. That decision is ours to make, and we make it case by case after checking our records.

The cases in the box above are not "never received" for this purpose. If you buy a tier you already hold or one below it, you have bought something that by design does nothing, and that is not refundable. Check your current rank before you buy.

7. Paying

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

You must be the owner of the card you pay with, or have the cardholder's clear permission. Paying with a card that is not yours and that you have no permission to use is fraud, and we will treat it as such: we will keep our records, hand them to Stripe and to the cardholder's bank, and remove your access to everything.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If something is wrong with an order, come to us first. We answer tickets and we would rather fix a delivery than argue with a bank.

If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute instead, then for as long as that dispute stands we will remove the items and access connected to it and ban the account from our Discord server and our Roblox group.

We defend disputes. When one is raised we give the bank our records: the record of you agreeing to these terms with the date and time, the payment record, what was delivered, when it was delivered, and any tickets or messages about it. That is why we keep those records, and why agreeing to these terms is a condition of using the site.

Nothing here removes any right you have under the law of your own country, or your card issuer's rules. We are telling you what we will do, not pretending you cannot do it.

9. Free rewards, the wheel and scratch cards

The spin wheel and the scratch cards are free to play. You cannot buy spins, points or scratch cards with money, and no purchase gives you any. Spins and points are given out by staff or earned in the community, and points can be traded for spins on the site.

Prizes, their chances and any timers are set by us and can change at any time. We do not publish the odds, and the chance of a given prize can differ from player to player. Prizes are a bonus, not something you are owed, and nothing you win has a cash value or can be exchanged for money.

Some prizes must be claimed within a time limit shown on screen, and discount codes you win run out after the period stated when you win them. If you let one expire, it is gone. If a prize fails to reach you because something broke on our side, open a ticket and we will look at it.

10. Behaviour, and losing access

While using our server, our game and this site, do not: harass or abuse other people, cheat or exploit bugs, use someone else's account or payment method, try to break into or overload our systems, or resell what we have given you.

We can remove your roles, your rank, your access and your membership at any time if you break these terms or our server rules. If we ban you, you do not get a refund and you do not keep what you bought. If we believe a ban was our mistake, we will restore what you had.

11. Things we cannot promise

We run this on a single server with a small team. Things break, the bot goes offline, Roblox and Discord change how they work, and deliveries occasionally fail. We fix problems as fast as we reasonably can, but we cannot promise the game, the bot or the site will always be available or always work.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything beyond the amount you actually paid us for the item in question.

12. Not affiliated with Roblox or Discord

CrimeLife: CIA is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc. You also have to follow their rules while using their platforms, and if they act against your account, that is between you and them.

13. Your information

What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Changes

We can change these terms. The version number and date at the top will change, and if the change matters we will ask you to agree again when you next sign in. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept it.

15. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us belongs in the courts of that state.

This does not take away consumer rights you have where you live. If you are somewhere that gives you rights we cannot sign away, you keep them.
