Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 September 2026
This policy covers the CrimeLife: CIA website at crimelifecia.com and the CIA Bot that runs in our Discord server. Both are operated by the CrimeLife: CIA community team. It explains what we hold about you, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
When you sign in with Discord. Signing in uses Discord's own login. We ask Discord for three things and it tells us:
- Your Discord user ID, username and avatar.
- Your email address as registered with Discord.
- Which roles you hold in the CrimeLife: CIA server, so we know what you have access to.
We never see or receive your Discord password.
When you link your Roblox account. We store your Roblox user ID and username, and the link between it and your Discord account. This is what lets us deliver in-game ranks and keep your Discord roles matching your Roblox rank.
When you buy something. We store a record of the purchase: the item, the amount, the date, and the Discord and Roblox accounts it was delivered to. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our server and we never store it.
When you open a support ticket. Tickets happen in a private Discord channel that only you and our staff can see. When a staff member closes the ticket, the bot saves a transcript of that channel, which includes the messages, the usernames, the avatars and the timestamps. We keep it because nearly every ticket concerns a payment, a refund or a delivery, and the transcript is our record of what was agreed. Transcripts are readable by our staff only and are not public.
When you use the site. We store your spin wheel and scratch card results, any points or spins balance, and any promo codes you redeem.
Staff actions. When a staff member changes someone's roles through our admin panel, we log who did it, what they changed and when. This is an accountability record.
What the bot does not do. It does not read or store messages from the server's normal channels. It checks messages for its command prefix so it can respond to staff commands, and the only message content it saves is the contents of a support ticket you opened yourself.
Why we hold it
- To deliver what you paid for and to prove it was delivered if you query it later.
- To keep your Discord roles in step with your Roblox rank.
- To handle refunds, chargebacks and support questions.
- To run the reward wheel and keep balances honest.
- To keep our staff accountable for the changes they make.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Everything above is stored on a server we rent and control. The database is not reachable from the public internet. Ticket transcripts sit outside the public part of the website and open only for signed-in staff.
Access is limited to community staff who have been given admin access. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train machine learning or AI models.
Services we rely on
- Discord for login and for the bot itself. See the Discord Privacy Policy.
- Roblox for verifying accounts and setting group ranks. See the Roblox Privacy Policy.
- Stripe for card payments. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
- Account links and balances: for as long as you are in our Discord server. Ask and we will remove them sooner.
- Purchase records: kept as long as we may need them for refunds, chargebacks and accounting. We may keep these even after you leave.
- Ticket transcripts: written when a ticket is closed. Most are removed automatically a few minutes later; any that remain are kept while the payment or issue could still be disputed, and are deleted on request.
- Staff action logs: kept as an accountability record.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will action deletion requests unless we are required to keep a record for a payment dispute, and we will tell you if that applies.
You can ask staff to unlink your Roblox account, and you can link a different Roblox account yourself at any time using the bot's relink command.
Children
Our Discord server and this site are subject to Discord's minimum age requirement for your country. If you believe a child below that age has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Contact
For any privacy question, or to request a copy or deletion of your data, open a support ticket in the CrimeLife: CIA Discord server. A member of staff will handle it.
Our Terms of Service
Using the site and buying from us is also covered by our Terms of Service, which explains what we sell, how delivery works, and our position on refunds and payment disputes.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
